The journey of Jin Cheng Group of Companies began in the 1990s when founder Mr. Huang Zhu Bing entered the construction industry. In 1994, he partnered with Mr. Lam Kek Chee to establish Jin Cheng Building Construction (JCBC), a sole proprietorship focused on precast labor subcontracting. With a commitment to competitive pricing and exceptional quality, JCBC flourished over the years.

To support this growth, Jin Cheng Pte Ltd (JCPL) was incorporated in January 2008, aligning with the rapid expansion of Singapore's private and public housing sectors. JCPL began supplying precast components not only to private condominiums but also to HDB public housing projects, collaborating with many established main contractors across Singapore.

In October 2010, Mr. Wong Pat Chii joined the team, bringing new expertise and vision. This led to the formation of Jin Cheng Engineering and Construction Pte Ltd (JCEC), which focused on general building works. JCEC undertook significant projects, including Changi Airport Terminal 4 and Mead Johnson Nutrition, further solidifying Jin Cheng's reputation in the industry.

In May 2012, the group expanded its capabilities with the opening of JCEC Concrete Sdn Bhd in Johor, Malaysia. This precast plant successfully completed numerous HDB and private residential projects, as well as various industrial buildings.

Today, Jin Cheng employs around 500 staff across its offices in Singapore and Malaysia. As it continues to grow, the group is evolving into a comprehensive design-and-build provider, leveraging advanced prefabrication technology to shape the future of construction.
